- Biography
- Geert started his career in 1988 with American Express in various positions in Card and Travel. In his last role, he was heading up Relationship Management for Benelux. In 2007, Geert joined UCB, a global leader in biopharmaceuticals for Immunology and Neurology, based in Belgium. He successfully harmonized the Travel and Fleet operations globally, and also added Meetings Management to his portfolio, becoming the Director for Global Travel, Meetings, and Fleet Management. At the end of 2022, Geert took on a new challenge as the Sustainable Procurement & Risk Lead and the Head of Sourcing Teams in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, reporting to the CPO. Geert's Sustainable Procurement & Risk Team is small but is promoting responsible and innovative practices.
